People all around us are hurting. Will you be one to lend a helping hand? Come learn the essential characteristics of being an effective counselor! Anew Day's Counseling Skills Workshop provides basic training for anyone who wishes to help support others as they navigate the challenges of life. It is also essential training for all who are interested in joining Anew Day's amazing team of Lay Counselors.
Our workshop is a class run by licensed Marriage and Family Therapists wishing to share their knowledge and experience. You'll learn essential characteristics for being an effective counselor. You'll gain skills for listening and communication. You'll be taught how to help others with their relationships, boundaries, anxieties, crises, addictions, grief, disorders, etc.

**The hybrid version of this workshop utilizes Anew Day's professionally recorded videos of the Workshop to allow attendees to view the course content at home on their own schedule. Two or three sessions are viewed during the week, followed up by a weekly in-person meeting with Anew Day's Clinical Staff for questions, discussion, and practice. This hybrid training takes only 6 weeks.
