Anew Day's Counseling Skills Workshop provides basic training for anyone who wishes to help support others as they navigate the challenges of life. It is also essential training for all who are interested in joining Anew Day's amazing team of Lay Counselors.

Our workshop is a 6 week class run by licensed Marriage and Family Therapists wishing to share their knowledge and experience. You'll learn essential characteristics for being an effective counselor. You'll gain skills for listening and communication. You'll be taught how to help others with their relationships, boundaries, anxieties, crises, addictions, grief, disorders, etc.
